Time to Relax with Luxola Destress Kit!

Hello beautiful people!
It is the last day of August!
August has gone in a blink of an eye.

To all Malaysians,
Happy Independence Day.

Time really is passing by fast.

I am almost ending one stage of my life
---Student Life---

And going to move onto the next stage
---Working Life aka Adulthood---

Like I mentioned before,
Going to a different phase in life can be scary for most of us
Hence, stress comes.
Big Time!

For the past few months,
I have been constantly thinking and planning for my future.
There have been so many things on my mind that
I cannot get a good night sleep
because the moment I close my eyes
I start thinking again.

And then recently,
the horrifying effects started to show!

My sister found not one but multiple white hairs on my head!!!

This is the worst case for me EVER.
Usually, my sister will sometimes find 1 maybe 2 strands of white hair
Then there will be will be none.

That is not all

I was scratching my head today

Loads of it!
Oh noooooo!

I only get dandruff when I get super stressed out.

This is a sign for me to start de-stressing myself
before I start losing my already thin hair!

That is why I would like to get my hands on
Luxola Destress Kit

So, I can start my de-stress session in the comfort of my own home!
I don't need to drive all the way to some spa place to get a relaxing session
I can get it in my own home.
How great is that.

The Luxola De-stress Kit

Oooo...Liquid Gold...
Now doesn't this mask sound extra interesting already?

It is a brand from Australia,
which I am not familiar with.
However, this mask was quoted as the Beauty HOT 100 by Harper's Bazaar back in 2012
This award winning mask is powerful mask,
which will leave one's complexion supple, dewy and radiant.
It is recommended to be used once a week.

Some of it's benefits
  • 15% Glycolic Acid exfoliates dead surface cells
  • Manuka Honey, Lavender and Vitamin E work to hydrate and plump the fresh new cells

This candle is also included in the kit.
I have not tried scented candles as a means to de-stress
So, I am excited to give it a try.
Some of the candles uniqueness
  • Soy Wax for a cleaner longer burn
  • 100 % cotton, lead free wick
  • Candle burn time up to 40 hours
  • 24 carat gold decal
  • Candle presented in a stunning glass vessel
  • Excellent scent throw
This lychee flower scent is apparently really good and it is always sold out!
This makes me extra curious how great this product actually is
to be sold out all the time.
Plus, the packaging is so pretty.
How could a girl resist it=P

I really do want to get a chance to try out these awesome products,
so, my de-stressing can commence.

Religion. Why is there constant fighting???

Hello everyone!
Finally, I completed this post after having it sitting in my draft since forever.

Because of the sensitivity of my post content.

Before the post start,
I would like to emphasize that the content written
are purely my own opinions.

Many of us do believe in God,
or at least in the
existence of some higher power,
Be it science or supernatural.

Because of human beings' natural curiosity and the
need for closure to some of life toughest questions
- What is the meaning of life?
- What is my purpose in life?

Religion was formed to help us through life by
giving us an alternate explanations to all our uncertainties.
so, we can sleep better at night?

One MAJOR commonality that all religions have
is for an individual to live life meaningfully
by doing good deeds and being kind to others.

It is true no?
I don't think there is any religion that teaches their followers
that they need to be naughty right?
Unless there is a new movement that I am unaware about=p

I often wondered why are there so many disagreements
between the different religions.

Aren't they all trying to achieve the same thing?
 World peace. Happiness.
or something along those lines.

Granted that every religion has their unique method of reaching their goals
and I have deep respect of all their practices.

Have you ever wondered whether there is a possibility
all the religion came from the same source?

 But, because of the different
era, culture, language, perception, etc..
the same idea may have been changed/incorporated
into the various culture.

What do you think?

Using me as an example:

I am one person
but I mean different things to different people

1. Daughter
One of my important role that I was born with=p

2. Sister
With my brother

With my sister

The only 2 people till date who have seen and know
possibly all my embarrassing and disgusting moments.
*You can imagine all kinds of blackmails I have to endure=P*

I do my best as a sister.
To be a role model, a positive influence, a helping hand, a shoulder for them to cry on.
But, I know I am the occasional pain in the arse and sometimes disappointment to them.

I. am. only. human.
Forgive me=P

3. Fashionista
Really or not?
Some of you may know me as the girl with a blog, who plays dress up.
Which, btw, I love doing when i am in the mood.

3. University Student
Some may know me as the hard working psychology student
*the hard working part is highly dubious though=P*

Last, semester to go! Yay!

4. A Mother Figure

Some people say I give them the motherly feel.
This is very possibly contributed by my naggy nature.

A mother figure who happens to be a serial nagger!

Can't help that I care so much right?=P
*Feel my sincerity?*

There are still many more different roles that I have.
Too long to write down.

I mean different things to different people.
For each of my roles, I use different ways to fulfill that role.
But, essentially I am the same sweet person=p

Correct or not?

So, coming back to the main topic.

We should not be finding the differences.
Why focus on differences when you can focus in finding the similarities???

Make peace. Not war.
Because, in the end,
Everyone wants to achieve happiness in life.

However, the journey there is up to us to decide.

The decision is yours.

What do you think of the post?
 Let me hear your thoughts=D

San Nae Duel Korean BBQ @ Publika

Hello Everyone=D

Today, will be a short food update...
Yay! Yummy-ness!

Just the other day, I had the opportunity to meet up with some of my Uni mates after so long.

Upon my friend's recommendation
*She strongly recommended and persuaded us*

We went for Korean BBQ at Publika
San Nae Duel Restaurant

They even have private individual rooms for you if you want extra privacy=P

Now, we move on to the yummy-lish part

The food!

The entire spread...
Don't you just love dining Korean
because they always serve multiple side dishes
which are always refillable=D
*That's the best part no?*

A closer look at some of their side dishes.

I love their Kimchi soup!
It is so good=D
It comes with a bowl of rice as well.

A hot bowl of Kimchi soup is perfect to warm you up any day.

 We ordered 2 different meat
Pork (on the left)
Beef (on the right)

The Pork

The Beef

Yummy beef slowly getting BBQ

We patiently await our food to get cooked

Watching your food get cooked in front of you
just make the whole eating experience much more satisfying
Don't you think so?

The restaurant gives great service.
This lady here helped us with the BBQ
*Although, I was looking forward to a DIY time...Oh well*

Some pictures while we waited
That's Phoebe and me=D

Pheoric was gracious enough to join us for dinner!
It had been a long time since I got a chance to catch up with him.
He told be some shocking news!
Good news laa...
I am so happy for him and I wish him all the best in this new stage of his life=D

Then, we got kinda bored.

Finally, we got to sample to beef.

It was pretty good.
The marinate was great, as the meat was full of flavor but not too salty=D
And, of course it was so tender.

All in all, I was satisfied with the food.

The pricing is pretty much market price for Korean BBQ,
it is not ridiculously priced.

The bill came up to about RM 107, which we split 3-ways.
The cashier was so kind to provide us with change so we could split the bill properly.

Rocker Chick?

I am back!

It's been a long time since I last updated.

Enjoying my holiday by crawling into my imaginary cave and hibernate,
Thus, the lack of updates.
I do apologize for that.
Rejuvenation is important no?

Today will be an outfit post.

Don't you just love outfit post!
Pls say yes laaa...

Since the last outfit was a sweet girly one,
Time to change it up a little with an edgier look.

The Rocker look
Naughty rocker chick look? =p
nah...I have too much of a sweet face
*Self-praise much!*

Great thing about fashion is that it is never dull.
There are countless ways to dress someone up.
You could look like a little girl or a sexy young thing,
just by changing your clothes.

Our clothes tells a story.
Story about who we are...what interest us...
Ultimately, it defines us.

Our character is very much reflected through our wardrobe.
Every piece of clothing shows bits of who we are as a person.
That is why we have different preferences.
We can both stare at the same top and have different ideas of wearing it=D

Same goes for other things in life.
So, there is no need to judge others or to give nasty comments,
It may simply be a differences in preferences.

That is how I try to look at things=D

 Back to the outfit.

Eagle Muscle Tank Top | MTWTFSS WEEKDAY

Snapback | CDF

Bodycon Skirt | H&M
(Originally, the zipper was suppose to be worn in the front but i think wearing it behind is nicer. See Preference=p)

Boots | Forever21

I can't really decide what face this is.
Constipated? Annoyed? Or simply the puny eyes look?

That is all for now.

Have an awesome week ahead.
